How To Get A Flat Stomach - Learn Some Healthy Snacks

It is an all familiar tale of woe. You say you do not have time to eat healthily. You just do not have time to go grocery shopping. No time to prepare "proper" food. Healthy eating takes time. I know all the excuses, I have used most of them.

Get Organised

Make a list before going grocery shopping. This will help prevent impulse purchases. Never go grocery shopping when you are hungry. Have a healthy snack beforehand or better yet, go grocery shopping AFTER dinner not beforehand. This will help you get a flat stomach.

It is as easy to cook multiple portions and put them in the fridge or freezer as a single portion. Make enough food for the next day. It will save time and usually tastes better.

If you really do not have time to eat, take a banana with you and a handful of nuts. Fruit and nuts are a really healthy snack and are easy to carry and really cheap. Keep some rice cakes in your drawer at work and have them with low fat hummus. Spending a little bit of time in the mornings preparing for the day ahead will keep you on track and make sure you get a flat stomach.

Get Cooking

I am the world's worst cook. I convinced myself that my only style cooking was cajun, its code for burnt.

Learn how to cook fast, healthy foods. Eggs are a fabulous food to have on stand by, always keep a box in the fridge. Scrambled with skimmed milk and wholewheat toast, hard boiled and chopped in a salad, dry fried, whatever way you like them, they are nutritious, healthy and will help you get a flat stomach.

Make your own soup, its really easy to make and very healthy. Simply sauté whatever vegetables are handy in the fridge until they are soft. Add in some vegetable stock and blend with a hand blender. Yum.

Get Moving

Exercise really pays off. It will help you get a flat stomach, burn excess calories, get fit, get toned, lose weight and make you feel fabulous. Even if you simply do not have time to dedicate to exercise, it is still possible to fit in some spot exercises during the day.

Jog up the stairs instead of walking. Do tricep dips on the side of the bath when ever you wash your hands or at your desk for 5 minutes. Use the stairs rather then the escalator. Take a brisk walk at lunch time. If you feel like a snack, make yourself walk to the shop to go and buy it. You may even find that the mood has gone off you by the time you get there.
